”Fritz Hutchison’s breezy “Stationary” takes his jaunty pop and gives it just a dash of melancholy (coinciding with his lovely falsetto delivery right before he sings the title). There’s a lightness in the tune, reflected in the fun and expertly done video (directed by artist Miki P) featuring Hutchison playing guitar and singing lead vocals supported by… well, three more Fritz Hutchisons. The recorded Fritzs are projected on a wall while the real one rotates instruments. It’s a lofi spectacle done with painstaking detail. A genuine delight that will put a smile on your face. Maybe that’s sappy, but try not to love it.”
