“Placenta Agenda’s Music video is a wild ride from start to finish, as is the song itself, putting these images to it’s unhinging lyrics makes this piece come alive, literally. Dreamy vocals begin the video alongside dreamy notepad visuals and a touch of psychedelia. As soon as the song’s heavy chords hit, you're transported to a hospital waiting room where a bloody patient is rushed through in a wheelchair. Obviously deep into labor, they're wearing a hospital gown with fishnets, a spiked collar, and are even fed a fireball shot from the nurse. In the frenzy of the delivery room, we see a bloody doctor putting a sucker into their mouth and another person rushing around in a sexy nurse costume.

Before you know it, a colorful group of three people in street clothes are walking into a diner that appears to only serve placentas.  They put in a to-go order and once it’s slapped onto the counter in a brown paper bag they head over to a friendly neighborhood barbeque. Except, instead of grandma and her potato salad, we see a parent with their newborn baby spitting out beer, the perfectly uncomfortable amount of jiggling jello and, obviously, a chihuahua in a purse. In the middle of the creative chaos, that is Placenta Agenda, we see intermittent shots of the Rosé Perez’s bloody-mouthed frontperson, Carrie, sipping a to-go soda and eating the umbilical cord like a spaghetti noodle.

The song abruptly ends, but the video continues to roll through credits and some fun outtakes. Honestly, there was so much detail and work that went into this I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to say. Like any good music video, this helps you to understand the inspiring absurdity this group of collaborative friends is all about. It’s available to watch for free on YouTube so there's no excuse to miss out on this experience and, personally, I cannot wait to see what wonderfully inspiring shenanigans they get into next!”
