Recently signed to Fire Talk, Chicago’s Bnny is a beautiful example of what’s exciting about music. Led by Jess Viscius, the band has only put out a handful of singles, and their most recent release “Time Walk” leaves no stone unturned as it delves into the distinct space achieved only through a stroll around the block. Synchronized bass walks paired with steady drums accentuate the slow awareness of fated change or suspension you’ll inevitably face and learn to accept with each passing step. Viscius explains:
“‘Time Walk’ is about the clarity you find when in motion—walking, driving, running. It’s about a friendship ending, but still feeling connected to the person. It’s about looking back while moving forward in slow motion. Time walk is a wake-up call.”
