AND HOW - “CAUGHT UP IN THE NIGHT”

The absence of touring over the past year has left somewhat of a void in discovering those hidden regional acts that might not have crossed my radar without them making a stop in Lawrence or Kansas City. This is why I was excited to come across “Caught Up in the Night'' by And How through a random Facebook recommendation. 30 seconds into the lone single I was immediately impressed. The catchy bossa nova influence, magnetic vocals, and unique psych-americana sound reminiscent of Woods or The Allah-Las is unlike anything else I’ve heard recently from Omaha or the midwest in general. I was curious why there was nothing to follow up this one single from 2019, but came across some member’s side projects such as Darla and Ryan Menchaca’s incredible EP enviados calidez. Even though we’ve only gotten a glimpse, it’s clear that there’s an extremely talented group of musicians in Omaha capable of coming together to create something special, and we’re excited to see what’s to come!
