R.I.PETER - GREEN HOUSE

“The opening snare, layered with synth keys, and a smooth electric guitar that follows the keys’ chorded melody, lets us know that R.I.Peter is, in fact, brewing up something very sweet with his latest single “Green House”. If you are imagining a beautifully luscious garden house, with intricate vines lining the most outer parts of the house, while plants of every color, shape, and size cover any available floor space, with the exception of a rustic area rug and large throw pillows that allow for comfortable seating in the said greenhouse, then you are right on par for what it feels like this song describes. In an ethereal way, R.I.Peter paints the picture of this mystical home, using layered instrumentation with an added touch of reverb. Halfway through the song, we get a second movement, where the guitar takes an inspiring lead, building us up into the third movement of the song that feels like it should most certainly be at the end of a feature film, precisely at the moment in the film when the viewer realizes that everything will be alright. There is something about the second guitar solo in the third movement, paired with the tambourine, and unifying harmonious vocals, that words can’t describe, but it’s the feeling you get when you just feel good, with no explainable reason why other than you just do. If the greenhouse feels as good as this song does, then I only have two questions, who lives in the greenhouse? And who's trying to pull up with me?”
